For one of our clients, a European Institution located in Luxembourg Kirchberg, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for an

Internal Control Officer (M/F)

Your tasks:

• Maintenance of the Risk and Control Matrix in Hopex

• Control Testing (design and operating effectiveness testing)

• Assessing and maintaining the linkage of the Risk and Control Matrix to the institution’s Processes and conclusions of other Control Functions

• Action tracking and closure assurance

• Regular and Ad-hoc reporting

Profil gesucht

Qualifications:

• University degree (minimum an equivalent to a Bachelor) preferably in Law, Political science, Economics, or Finance; a Master’s degree would be an advantage

• A minimum of three years’ relevant professional experience in internal control

• Excellent knowledge of English, both oral and written. Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage

Competencies

• Professional level experience with MS Office including Excel

• Ability to work within tight deadlines, to react swiftly and effectively to new situations in a client-focussed and high-quality service environment

• Excellent organisational skills with an ability to prioritise

• Disciplined approach whilst maintaining creativity and lateral thinking towards troubleshooting and problem solving

• Excellent interpersonal skills for dealing with internal and external counterparts

• Team player

This is a great opportunity for a long-term temporary contract (initial 2-month contract + several extensions) to start asap

Salary: depending on years of experience - between 5000€ and 6000€ gross/month
