For one of our clients, a European Institution located in Luxembourg Kirchberg, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for an:



Chief Executive/Deputy Chief Executive - Internal Communication Officer (M/F)



 Purpose:

The incumbent will be part of the team that oversees the delivery of internal communication activities within the organisation. The (Senior) Internal Communications Officer plays a vital role in fostering a positive and informed workplace culture. The incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of the internal communications spectrum, from initiating and coordinating the internal communication activities, to developing content and managing its online and offline channels.



Responsibilities

•              Manage and keep up to date the internal communication channels, particularly the organisation’s intranet site, in coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

•              Actively participate in and support the ongoing development of these channels, such as with the intranet revamp and analytics review. 

•              Initiate and draft content with a strong storytelling approach, ensuring that content is consistent with the goals and objectives of the organisation. Deploy creativity to craft compelling narratives that resonate with employees.

•              Coordinate, organise, or support internal staff events and activities that foster an inclusive, collaborative and trust-based corporate culture. These events can range from large all-staff events, to townhalls or information sessions.

•              Work closely with team members to deliver initiatives that drive staff engagement, by developing and/or supporting creative communication projects that aim to enhance employees’ sense of belonging.

•              Assist business functions with internal communications.

Required profile

Qualifications

•              University degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Digital Media or other related field, with post-graduate qualifications constituting a distinct advantage;

•              A minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience in the communication field;

•              Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. Knowledge of French would be an advantage;

•              Proficiency in standard computer applications, as well as editorial and content management software; knowledge of creative software, such as Adobe Creative Suite package, would be considered an asset.

•              Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, as well as the journalistic ability to proactively engage with colleagues to source content, stories, and generate a strong culture of internal communication.

•              Creative, media-savvy, and enthusiastic about delivering high-quality content.

•              Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the capacity to connect and forge partnerships at all levels.

•              Excellent team spirit and be able to work autonomously on several projects, both independently and in a multicultural team.

•              Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.

•              A can-do, proactive, and positive attitude, with an open mind toward team feedback.

•              Stress-resistant, with the ability to meet both regular and unforeseen deadlines.



This is an opportunity for an initial contract of 2 months, with extensions afterwards.

Salary ranges between 4,500€ and 6,400€ gross per month, depending on experience.
