For one of our client, a Bank located in Luxembourg-Belair, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for an :

Life Insurance Custody Officer (M/F)

Summary

• Point of escalation for insurance companies and internal operations teams

• Responsible for the monitoring , reporting and advocating continuous improvement of the service delivery relationship between insurance companies and Loesa re LI accounts

Key Responsibilities

• Contractual documentation: follow up of LI account documentation

• Accounts opening: managing all the processes to open LI accounts (master and sub- accounts) and be the internal and external key contact for the documentation

• Ensuring controls at every stage of the opening account: Regulatory controls, Management and custody fees, etc.

• Operations : managing withdrawals, additional payment, fees, VAT

• Requests : managing requests about reporting, statements, web access, taxes, SWIFT connections, valuations, assets classification regarding the CAA circulars and driving resolutions and management of the queries about LI accounts

• Processes : insuring implementation of harmonized “custodian life insurance procedures”

• Regulation : maintaining awareness of regulatory developments (Priip’S, EMIR, etc.) and update LI procedures

• Prepare the Priip’s Files required by Insurance Companies

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities

• Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements

• Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role

• Complete all mandatory trainings as required to attain and maintain competence

• Adhere to, understand and promote an appropriate risk culture and sound risk management practice within the location; own and proactively act on results of first, second and third line controls within the business area of responsibility

Profil recherché

Qualification / education required

• Degree in Business Management or economics

Experience Required

• Minimum 5 years previous relevant work experience within an insurance company in a commercial function or within an insurance function

Competencies & Skills

• Client service orientation, ability to work under tight deadlines; excellent communication skills

• Autonomy, organization & ability to multi-task

• Knowledge of European Life Insurance environment (Legal, Tax, Regulatory) and products

• Team player and result-oriented

Systems Used

• G2, CRM, DocuPrint, LA Retrieve, Microsoft Office, Connaissance client, Docflow, LA Scanner

Language skills

• English and French; any other language is a bonus

This an opportunity for a 3-month temp contract, and salary depends on the profile.
