For one of our clients, a bank based in Kirchberg, Sofitex talent recruitment is currently looking for a :

System Analyst and Support (M/F)

Job Purpose

The jobholder is a highly motivated individual part of our team as a System Analyst and Support. The overall responsibility is to help support and maintain the company’s computer systems, software, and network infrastructure. The Bank in Europa has a short team work in technology, support to the users as a help desk/support is required. Independently on all tasks resulting from mainly operational activities in order to keep running the Bank’s environment and any other request initiated via the ICT Manager or the Senior Management. The ICT system analyst documents all acts and provides reporting on request and about specific issues, to the ICT Manager or the Senior Management. Specific concerns are discussed verbally or by emails exchanges. This is a full-time position with potential for growth and advancement within the company.

Duties

• Install and maintain hardware and software systems, including servers, PCs, laptops, and mobile devices;

• Assist end-users with technical issues and troubleshoot problems (covering help desk duties);

• Manage and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points. Ensuring the daily system operating and monitoring;

• Research and evaluate new technology solutions to enhance the company’s technological capabilities;

• Create and maintain documentation of hardware and software configurations;

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve technology-related issues;

• Monitors the status of all servers (systems availability and performance, Storage space, Data queues, Data replication and data backups);

• Tracks the HW/SW asset registers, cover help desk duties, grants system accesses according to the user’s requests (duly approved by Senior Management beforehand); ICT - PL System Analyst and Support

• Acts in line with the requirements from corporate governance and regulatory requirements from CSSF/BCL

• Managing the physical inventory of all Hw / Sw and bank tokens

• Access management

• Administration of e-IBS cases (incidents and changes). E-IBS is an American Software. He will learn how to work with this software, at the bank

• Ensuring data relevant security via regular backups and anti-virus software

Profil recherché

Skills/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT analysis, support or related field.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information in a non-technical manner to end-users.

• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, IT security and network systems.

Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find solutions.

• Microsoft Windows Server

• Linux platform

• VMware platform

• MS Office, SharePoint

Banking Knowledge

• Being able to document procedures, processes

Fluency in English. Portuguese and French are considered as an asset

Salary : 6,500€ (according to experience) + 18 meal vouchers + Annual bonus (discretionary and eligible after a year within the bank)

Location : Kirchberg

Contract : Permanent position
