For one of our clients, a European Institution located in Luxembourg Kirchberg, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for a:

Deputy Chief Executive - Officer – Equity Portfolio Services (M/F)

The officer reports to and works under the supervision of the Head of the Equity Portfolio Services Unit within the Equity Services Division and receives guidance from senior members of the Unit as required.

Responsibilities:

The officer will be involved in the following tasks:

• Collect, validate and execute the collection of NAV and portfolio data from quarterly reports received from European Institution counterparts for equity business line;

• Be an expert in term of data processing in relation to the organisation’s business lines;

• Support audit process and manage programs by providing requested documentation and explanation of underlying data received from counterparties;

• Ensure a robust control environment is maintained and that all operational and compliance risks are actively managed and mitigated;

• Contribute as required to process enhancements and operational activities in relation data processing activities of the Units.

• Support the team members for any internal projects assigned to the Unit;

Perfil buscado

Qualifications:

• University degree, preferably at postgraduate level, in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related subjects;

• At least three (3) years of relevant professional experience in a position with similar responsibilities;

• Relevant professional experience in Banking/Asset Management, Reporting, Quantitative Analysis, Audit, Fund Administration, Finance or related area, preferably with exposure to Private Equity assets would be considered an advantage;

• Additional professional qualifications (e.g. CFA, ACCA) would be considered an asset;

• Excellent knowledge of English, both oral and written. Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage.

• Strong analytical skills and high affinity with numbers, data intensive processes and technology;

• Capacity to work and prioritize efficiently under strict deadlines and time pressure;

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy;

• Good business sense;

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to defend his / her opinions;

• Creativity, and ability to analyze problems from new angles, and to identify and develop solutions depending on the issues to be addressed;

• Team player.

This is an opportunity for a long term temporary contract (initial 2-month contract + extensions), to start asap

Salary: depending on years of experience
