For one of our clients, a European Institution located in Luxembourg Kirchberg, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for an:


Chief Executive/Deputy Chief Executive - Project Manager / Data & Analytics project expert (M/F)

The incumbent(s) report to and work under the supervision of senior members of the Project and Digitalisation Coordination Division.


Purpose

The responsibilities of the temporary Project Manager will comprise the coordination and oversight of project activities, including the project management office activities under the digitalisation programme, as well as the management of project dependencies, delivery, budget, reporting etc.

Responsibilities

•              Contribute to ongoing projects and programmes (delivery activities, presentation materials, drive action follow-up as and when needed, prepare and communicate project needs); in particular, but not limited to, the following key activities currently under the responsibility of the Project Management unit:

o             support the delivery of the digitalisation programme and its underlying projects. This will include a complete modernisation of the IT systems, data, reporting and analytics platforms supporting the daily operations;

o             support the transition to a digital and data driven institution;

o             support and guide stakeholders in the management of their projects;

o             foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

•              Ensure execution of the project portfolio by managing and/or supporting its delivery by:

o             Establishing key success factors for the project and monitor them;

o             Monitoring and controlling status, budget, scope and timeline at project and portfolio level;

 o            Managing projects and supporting/coaching stakeholders in their project management activities

o             Tracking inter-dependencies between different projects, implementing agreed priorities and maximising outcomes under agreed KPls;

o             Identifying and following up on risks and issues across projects and ensure remediation when needed;

o             Ensuring each project is properly documented in line with applicable methodologies, in order to report progress and status at portfolio level;

•              Centralise, review and align project portfolio activities with business priorities;

•              Apply detailed monitoring tools and practices to ensure robust project and portfolio management, budgetary control, project status reporting and project oversight;

•              Facilitate collaboration across project teams by mobilising, coordinating and "animating" business teams from across the organisation in case of transversal projects, ensuring efficient communication and understanding of needs;

Perfil buscado

•              MSc/MA Diploma in business administration, engineering, computer science, economics or a relevant field;

•              At least three (3) years of experience of relevant post-graduation (after having obtained your initial university diploma) professional experience in relation to project management and delivery, coordination and delivery of data/reporting/analytics initiatives, ideally in the financial sector;

•              Good knowledge of project portfolio management, reporting and quality management;

•              Working knowledge of programme/project management software(s) (Basecamp, MS Project etc.) is a strong advantage;

•              Good understanding of Lean-Agile Leadership, Lean Portfolio Management, Agile Product Delivery is a strong advantage

•              Any Project Management certifications (PM2, PMI, Prince2) and/or any Agile certifications (Lean, SAFe, Scrum) are considered an advantage;

•              Experience related to data analytics, reporting and data management, with new technologies, is considered a strong advantage;

•              Direct knowledge of/ involvement in digitalization and business transformation programmes is considered an advantage;

•              Exposure to and interest in new technologies are an advantage;

•              Excellent knowledge of MS Office Package;

•              Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage.

This is an opportunity for an initial contract of 2 months, with possible extensions afterwards.

Salary ranges between 4500€ and 6400€ gross per month, depending on experience.
