For one of our clients located in Luxembourg Kirchberg, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for a

Senior Risk Analyst (M/F)

- Independently execute and oversee risk management activities, ensuring accurate performance of risk assessments, controls, and documentation in line with the Risk Management
Framework

- Take ownership of specific risk processes or frameworks (e.g., RCSA, KRI monitoring, incident tracking), ensuring their effective execution and continuous improvement

- Identify, assess, and analyze risks across business activities, including operational, ICT, and emerging risks, and propose mitigation measures

- Perform detailed analysis of risk indicators, trends, and events, identifying root causes and supporting forward-looking risk assessment

- Review and challenge risk data and control assessments, ensuring consistency, completeness, and alignment with internal methodologies

- Provide day-to-day advisory to internal stakeholders on risk-related matters, including interpretation of risk policies and methodologies

- Review and validate work performed by Risk Analysts, ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to defined standards

- Contribute to the development and enhancement of risk policies, procedures, and methodologies, including improvements to tools and reporting

- Support the preparation of risk reports and dashboards, including analysis, interpretation of results, and contribution to management insights

- Support ESG-related risk activities, including identification, assessment, and monitoring of sustainability-related risk exposures within the risk framework

- Relevant experience in Risk Management (typically 3–5 years) within the financial sector, with solid exposure to operational risk, ICT risk, or internal control frameworks

- Good understanding of risk management methodologies (e.g., RCSA, KRIs, incident management), with the ability to apply them independently

- Fluency in English. Fluency in Portuguese is an asset

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and propose practical solutions

- Ability to work autonomously while exercising sound judgment, including appropriate escalation of significant risks or issues

- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling clear articulation of risk topics and advisory to business units

Salary: depending on experience: between 5500 and 6300€ brut + 13th month + meal vouchers
